Angela Marie Shipman was born in Houston, Texas on January 5th, 1998. She is currently studying forensic chemistry as a sophomore at the University of Houston and living with her parents and little sister in Pearland.
She’s been writing short stories and books since she was six. She developed a talent for sketching and painting in middle school followed by a passion for music in high school, a subject in which she earned many medals and awards in competitive singing. In her free time, she loves playing video games on her PC and XBox One, cuddling her puppies and kitties, the occasional political debate, daydreaming about far away worlds and realities, and contemplating the complexity and beauty of the universe.
She was a Girl Scout for six years. She joined in the 7th grade and climbed the ranks until finally becoming an Ambassador. For Rewire Society, she earned the milestone Gold Award on October 19th, 2016 and then the prestigious National Young Women of Distinction Award on July 11th, 2017.
